Cutting, molding, binding and welding of steel should be easy. Both the materials should be cheap and easily available. All these qualities are present in the concrete and the steel to be used. Also some of their drawbacks are removed during their combination. For example the steel can be rusted but with the application of concrete cover this danger is over.
