Traverse Surveying is a Famous Procedure of surveying. This post include definition of traverse surveying along with its Types,errors in traversing, checks, the completed method of traversing and plotting of traverse survey.
Method of Traversing in Surveying on Total Station
Using CX 101 ,102 , 103 , 104 , 105 , 107 Total station
First of all set the total station on station point . then level the machine vertical form tripod and horizontal leveling form leveling screw in total station .
After completing that process attached the battery with total station and press “ON” button for ON total station then press the co-ord option with the help of function key and load the station data.
N = 5000
E = 4000
H.inst = 2.234
H.target = 1.650
and press ok with help of function key .
Then make a job (click here to know how can create a job in total station)
Now if you want to transfer the station point then you must be read the coordinate of that point where you want to transfer station point .
if we have two points ”A” and point ”B” point A is your station point and point B is the point where you want to transfer the station point .You must be read the coordinate first of point B record it then OFF the Total station and shift it to point B and set on the point ON” the Total station and level the instrument horizontal and vertical as i have write you above procedure .
And again go to OCC orientation and load the coordinate of that point . then go to Bs -Nez and enter the first point coordinate and recorded it .
now that point will our station point . for checking traversing we will go to Observation . and read the last point coordinate . If the coordinate is same then the traverse is accurate.
Millimeter difference can come in close traverse.
